Fresh out of the shop is this set of mini speakers, featuring solid wood “chopping block” construction, some fancy purpleheart inlay, and bass ports machined into each cabinet.

They are a perfect match for our 8×8 watt amplifier the “Simplifier 8“.

An updated version of the original Leap Cubes, featuring cabinets constructed from reclaimed wood, new woofers, with more surface area for better bass response, and neodymium magnets for lighter weight.

Each set of speakers is sold with a matching 8×8 watt stereo amplifier, based on the MP7720 single ended Class D amplifier and carved out of solid cedar.

These matched sets are great in the studio for checking your mix against your workhorse studio monitors, as well as home HiFi use.

Woodies

A speaker cabinet replacement project, the Woodies were once a pair of standard black boxes. Great sounding Paradigm boxes at that. Our client wanted new cabinets created that would fit in well with his bare wood adorned living room. We replaced the black wood effect vinyl covered particle board with lightly stained 22mm baltic birch plywood.

Cubes

Six inch cubes of joy is the long name, but Cubes works just as well. These were originally created as a take on the Auratone 5c secondary monitor, a studio monitor created to help studio engineers preview a mix as it might be heard on some teenagers ipod dock.

Unfortunately something went wrong during the design process, making these sound a tad too awesome!
